Here at Country Days we love a feather-filled friend. Whether to comfortably perch upon, contentedly cuddle, or accessorise your furniture with, there’s no denying that every country home needs an indulgent cushion collection to plump and arrange! On this week’s shopping shortlist we’ve rounded-up our favourite cushion buys to delight over…

A relaxed rustic interior is all about the personal touch. Don’t be afraid to mix colours and patterns in an eclectic fashion to create an individual collection. We love Cloth & Clover’s beautifully crafted fabrics (top left) – all inspired by early printed textiles and traditional arts and crafts. Each cushion is made to order – lovingly designed and printed in England by skilled craftsmen and women using traditional techniques and processes. Choose from a delicious palette of soft pastels or vintage primaries to add contrast to a neutral piece of furniture.

Country style celebrates bringing the outside in. It’s the season for an abundance of spritely wildlife motifs and Emily Bond’s charming Rabbits and Hares large cushions (top right) have quite literally leapt to our attention! These linen lovelies, screenprinted by hand, can be happily mixed and matched with other animal-themed friends for an enchanting rural scheme with a contemporary twist!

Cluster a collection of harmonious designs for a luxuriously dressed bench. Rowen & Wren’s Maya crewel-stitched cushions (above) feature a lovely combination of chalky neutrals and catkin green highlights – harmonious opulence with just a hint of the East.

Decorative cushions provide country interiors with comfort, colour and style. These tactile accessories pull a scheme together, injecting pops of pattern and textural layers to any room. Cushions can be alternated to suit the season or your mood – offering a cost-effective and versatile styling solution to keep your home fresh. With such a delightful array of patterns on the market, our love for fabrics is limitless!
