I thought I’d share this video from Ellie Tennant, Deputy Shopping Editor on our sister title, Ideal Home, which has some lovely ideas on how to create the perfect craft room…

If you’re feeling inspired, here’s our favourite craft-room buys:

For a multi-purpose craft room and study choose an L-shaped white desk (try Ikea) with a swivel chair (Ikea or John Lewis) and an Anglepoise lamp (John Lewis).

In a hobby room, cover a table top with a colourful oilcloth (Cath Kidston) and use glass jars (John Lewis) or clear boxes (Muji) to store buttons, ribbons and trimmings. Pin fabric swatches on a memo board (Pins and Ribbons).

And to create craft corner, combine a desk with a drawer unit (Ikea) and a memo board above.

Great ideas and tips from Ellie. Oh, to have a whole room for crafting!

The Cath Kidston oilcloth is a very nice touch! 🙂 I will have to look for an alternative though as we do not have that brand here in Manila.
