Down here on the South coast, it looked like we had had it pretty easy on the snow front. But there was a fine carpet of the white stuff outside at sunrise this morning. Have you had any?

      Dear Rhoda,

we had snow, a good coat I’d say, on Thursday and then again yesterday morning. The weather forecasts say we will have some more tomorrow and the day after tomorrow.

I’ve posted a pic of my home covered in snow, I’ d really appreciate if you would give a look.

Friday brought about an inch of snow to South Wales, and the temperature hasn’t risen above freezing since, so most of it is still here! Rather pretty, but very cold…

Here in Oxfordshire the snow is falling gently at the moment covering the farm in a gentle layer of white.

The animals have all decided that after breakfast, the only civilised thing to do is to retire to the warmth of the pig arks and henhouses. The dogs are running round like excited puppies, and me, I’m firmly ensconced in front of the computer with a steaming mug of coffee….my reward for trundling through the snow to feed and water them all.

I can almost feel my feet again!!
