It’s been personalised with an appliquéd initial in a beautifully plush velvet fabric – just choose a shade that fits your decorating scheme. It’s simple to make from a single piece of linen fabric with a channel stitched at the top for the rope pulls. If you can’t wait until the issue is out to have a go, click for our easy step-by-step instructions. All you have to do now is buy the presents to fill it!

That’s gorgeous and useful as a laundry bag after Christmas….I do like dual purpose things.

That’s lovely! Those two colours look great together too!

I just wanted to say that I found your site via Yahoo and I am glad I did. Keep up the good work and I will make sure to bookmark you for when I have more free time away from the books. Thanks again!

Hand-made gifts are more meaningful than store bought. Your idea is great and we hope more people use it!

      Dear Rhoda,

I am not a subscriber to Country Homes & Interiors, but, I must say that the Christmas sack in this issue is very nice. I operate a small home based business in Cardiff, South Wales, making bespoke type cushion covers, including general household aprons. This blog is very smart, packed with lovely ideas. Excellent quality!
