When I was growing up my nanny’s house was a treasure trove of things she had made – embroidered tablecloths and napkins, crocheted coasters and mats. So when, on Wednesday, I was lucky enough to get a sneak peek of the new John Lewis Autumn and Winter ranges,  I was immediately transported back to her big Edwardian house. Granny’s Attic is a new range of bed linen and cushions with lovely hand-embroidered details teamed with modern colours  –  just perfect for today’s country home. It’s not in store until the end of August I’m afraid, but I loved it so much I had to show you…

This is a lovely post, Rhoda. I have very fond memories of the times I spent at my Gran’s house as a child. Thanks for giving my the inspiration for my latest blog post. http://tinyurl.com/lge3zd
